Frequently asked questions
In what order should I read your books?
Check out my Suggested Reading Order Page for details on how my series fit together.
Do all your books take place in the same universe?
I currently write in two universes: the Reed Montgomery universe (which includes the Reed Montgomery series, the Wolfgang Pierce series, and the Prosecution Force Series) and the Mason Sharpe Universe, which currently only includes the Mason Sharpe series. Any of my series can be read independently of the others, however, and will make perfect sense.
Are any of the plot points or characters in your novels based on real people or events?
I get this one a lot. I don’t think any writer can claim that everything in their stories is a complete product of their imagination. Certainly when I write reality-centric books such as my Prosecution Force novels, there are a lot of real people/places/events/ect. that contribute to and inspire the story. Reed himself is a product of my imagination, as are Mason, Wolfgang, and Maggie, although lots of people, books, movies, etcetera have inspired their backstories and personalities.
Will there be more Mason Sharpe books?
Absolutely. Inkubator Books, the publisher I partner with on Mason’s series, runs short preorders (meaning they only place the next book up for preorder shortly before it is released). But I’m always working on the next Mason book, and have no plans to end the series any time soon.
What about audiobooks?
Most of my novels are available in audio format, and all the rest are in the works. Audio production is a somewhat costly and time consuming process, so unfortunately the audio editions of my books often trail behind the release of the ebook/print editions, but never fear! I love audio and remain committed to bringing all my stories into audio format.
Do you have other series or projects in the works?
I have lots of ideas and I’m always working on something in the background. Currently, I’m pretty focused on completing my Prosecution Force Series and continuing Mason’s adventures, but who knows what the future holds. I hope to write for a very long time.
Can I purchase signed copies?
I don’t currently have a system in place to offer signed copies for sale, but this may change in the future. For now, the best way to score a signed copy is to join my Readers’ Club. I send a monthly newsletter packed with book news and all things thriller, and yes, I frequently give away signed copies. Check it out!
